Housing Loss Crisis

The United States of America is facing a severe crisis. Many people are losing their houses, and the goverment hasn't really done anything from stopping the rapidly increasing house foreclosures. A man by the name of Barack Obama has a plan to pump $30 billion into the economy to shield homeowners and local goverment from the worst collapse of the housing bubble. He said that the goverment was to blame for not being able to take care of the banks that were writing bad loans or stepping in to help the thousands of people that are declaring foreclosure and bankruptcy. I agree with this program, i believe that it will help out banks, local goverment, and thousands of homeowners. This money will help alot of poeple keep their houses, and stop the economy from going into a depression. Obama has great plans that will truly be able to help or struggling economy. Obama opposed what McCain had to say about this topic. McCain believes that goverment has no intervention in bailing out banks, homeowners, or the housing market. Obama has a better approach to the housing crisis, McCain is not going to do anything for the struggling homeowners, or the economy.

Clinton or Obama?

The race for the presidency has seen major turnout from voters. The question is who will win Texas and Ohio for the Democratic Party. Obama has the momentum, but Clinton holds the Latino suppport that could determine who wins the Texas, Ohio primaries. In Super Tuesday Clinton held the hispanic vote 63% to Obama's 35%. Obama led with the African American vote 76% to Clinton's 18%. It is true that the black and hispanic vote will have something to do with who is going to represent the Democratic party come November. This article says that Hispanics, or African American wont have the last word, it says that Anglos will be the deciding factor on who becomes the Democratic candidate. It states that Hispanic and African American vote are evenly supporting the democratic candidates, and that the Anglo vote will decide who the winner will be. I think that the Anglo vote will affect the race but not as much as the Hispanic and Afican American vote. These candidates are candidates that we've never had before, a woman and a African American man running for the presidency. Women and Hispanics want Hillary to win the Democratic party, African Americans and men want Obama to win. As soon as March 5th comes around we will be able to see who will be our Democraic candidate. I think that if either one of these Democrats candidate wins office they should elect the other running democratic candidate as their Vice President.
